Often we forget that the subconscious is a slow leak into awareness for a reason. Though in the past I have asked, prayed, “why can’t we all just receive revelation & awareness?” Why God, in his power, can’t just open everyone’s eyes?

I slowly began to understand the protection around the subconscious. Around the closing of the eyes and hardening of the heart. The sort of grace of the shadowy defense mechanisms that keep us hovering at our varing webs of consciousness. Opening the doors of one or two networks at a time, instead of flowing awareness like a waterfall onto all of humanity.

The reality is that to know oneself comes with the double edge sword of truth. To feel it without withering from pain we must obtain a foundation of compassion. Of understanding that’s built from the slow drip of lessons. Uncovering, bit by bit, how our current reality and egos don’t truly serve us.

People walk around carring the guilt of their ancestors, the shaming and shaping of our current realities that allow us to accept one another. They hate the parts of themselves that get rejected, the parts that learned to cope through repression, addiction, seeking attention and validation, or apathy, being judgmental, or even just unaware. We bind ourselveses to cultural norms and judge anyone who steps too far out. This is shown in how we view others, for we can only love as much as we know how to. Yet with all the expansion of humanity’s knowledge, the perpetuation of hatered and war continues. Steming from judgement- to think onself better than, More deserving. To view another as holding less value for thinking differently or not subscribing to the group ideaologies. Even in the everyday thoughts and comment sections we attempt to prove our knowledge or send slippery encouragements with backhanded compliments to “keep going” carring the implication that someday soon one will arrive at OUR “heightened or higher” level. Not understanding that human experience and awareness is more a web than a ladder. A everflowing, vasculating current flowing through the positives and negatives within each of us -propelling us forward into oneness. When we present ourselves as being more “awakened”- yet portray a annoyance and lack of patience for anyone viewed as exhibiting traits less than ideal, we prove to not contain the depths of the vary understanding we speak of. But if we can instead show up with a voice that speaks truth without condescension, respecting and listening to one another, sitting at one anothers feet, knowing each of us contains some secret gift within the depths of our being, then Then we can unlock the door of the hardened heart.

Every moment our actions, and traits are speaking for us. Showing us the fabric of our being like a tapestry. Some rough, unfitting, unideal and in need of new stitching. Others bright, strongly sewn. Yet all one. The rough, beginning patches -the first efforts of the unknowing sewer. One could look at these less than ideal patches or actions with judgement, guilt, hate Or As attempts. The frailty of the learner who pierces their finger, licking the blood of its wound, soothing the conciousness as it allows itself to unfold. Slowly, steadily, painfully, blissfully. When looked at it in such a way, one holds the hand of the “lower self” to gradually help pull it up, out of the grave it dug itself into for protection. Not as a trick, but a slow drip. A gentle addition of the next string to expand the web without it collapsing in on itself.

For to glace upon the depth of the soul in bloom, One must first develop the rose colored glasses of love… Because to see it fully, & know it Is to behold the thorns of death, Watch, as it pierces the hearts of the innocent with the sharpness of reality. It is to burn in pain Yet witness, Love’s light breathe back its beats. Filling once atrophied flesh. With the wisdom of death, And The water of Everlasting life.

Birthing, tasting The depth of the fruit Of incomprehensible love.
