When I think about new age concepts and toy with them in my mind, I think about it like this,

Maybe I’m a light worker or a starseed. An angel sent to uplift. An indigo child, broken by this cruel world, a bite taken out of my shoulder. Or maybe… I’m a fallen angel, attempting to live out an experience as a false God. A lost soul with one last chance to come home. A daughter of Eve bound by my sin.

Or maybe I’m just a piece of shit, trying to be anything more than I am.

The thing is it doesn’t matter. I am loved because of who God is, not because of who I am.

But who I am Is loved by God.

“On the day you were born your cord was not cut, nor were you washed with water to make you clean, nor were you rubbed with salt or wrapped in cloths. No one looked on you with pity or had compassion enough to do any of these things for you. Rather, you were thrown out into the open field, for on the day you were born you were despised. “ ‘Then I passed by and saw you kicking about in your blood, and as you lay there in your blood I said to you, “Live!”” – God ‭‭Ezekiel‬ ‭16:4-6‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.” ‭‭1 John‬ ‭4:10‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭5:7-8‬ ‭NIV‬‬
