I was given a vision of a ram’s skull and the words

“the devil is like this skull, dead”

I thought what does this mean? It says he is alive and the ruler of this world and waiting for someone to devour. But then I remembered all these scriptures,

Don’t eat the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil for you will surely die!

The wages of sin is death,

sin and unrighteousness produces no fruit.

Around that same time I was given a vision of Jesus’s eyes and they burned and flicked with moving, holy fire.

The devil has no power over God.

In fact, God doesn’t even see him as living!

So what does this mean?

Is satan the ruler of this world

and given authority?

yes. But by inflating his power,

we underestimate Gods.

I imagine the garden of Eden had all the fruits from the spirits of God in it. “..love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, self-control…” ‭‭Galatians‬ ‭5‬:‭22‬-‭23‬ ‭HCSB‬‬

But the fruit of the path of knowing good and evil,

was death.

The ability to see, compare & know,

is by the way of the so called “yin & yang” forces.

The only power the devil, or “destroyer,” has

is to be a contrast to God, who is life. His power is death of the finite.

And we live in the finite, at times very wearily.

But God is more powerful than the grave.

“Set me as a seal on your heart, as a seal on your arm. For love is as strong as death; ardent love is as unrelenting as Sheol. Love’s flames are fiery flames — the fiercest of all.” ‭‭Song of Songs‬ ‭8‬:‭6‬ ‭HCSB‬‬

“His head and his hair were white like wool, as white as snow. And his eyes were like flames of fire. “”I am the living one. I died, but look—I am alive forever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and the grave.”” ‭‭Revelation‬ ‭1‬:‭14‬, ‭18‬ ‭NLT‬‬

“..He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead…” ‭‭Colossians‬ ‭1‬:‭18‬ ‭HCSB‬‬

“And you He made alive, who were dead…” ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭2‬:‭1‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“(for the fruit [the effect, the result] of the Light consists in all goodness and righteousness and truth), For this reason He says, “Awake, sleeper, And arise from the dead, And Christ will shine [as dawn] upon you and give you light.”” ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭5‬:‭9‬, ‭14‬ ‭AMP‬‬

“That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day. For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.” ‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭4‬:‭16‬-‭18‬ ‭NLT‬‬

“But the Lord God warned him, “You may freely eat the fruit of every tree in the garden— except the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. If you eat its fruit, you are sure to die.”” ‭‭Genesis‬ ‭2‬:‭16‬-‭17‬ ‭NLT‬‬

“When Adam sinned, sin entered the world. Adam’s sin brought death, so death spread to everyone, for everyone sinned. Because one person disobeyed God, many became sinners. But because one other person obeyed God, many will be made righteous. God’s law was given so that all people could see how sinful they were. But as people sinned more and more, God’s wonderful grace became more abundant. So just as sin ruled over all people and brought them to death, now God’s wonderful grace rules instead, giving us right standing with God and resulting in eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭5‬:‭12‬, ‭19‬-‭21‬ ‭NLT‬‬

“So you see, just as death came into the world through a man, now the resurrection from the dead has begun through another man. Just as everyone dies because we all belong to Adam, everyone who belongs to Christ will be given new life…” ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭15‬:‭21‬-‭23‬ ‭NLT‬‬

“The thief comes only in order to steal, kill, and destroy. I have come in order that you might have life—life in all its fullness.” ‭‭John‬ ‭10‬:‭10‬ ‭GNT‬‬

“Their king is the angel from the bottomless pit; his name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in Greek, Apollyon—the Destroyer.” ‭‭Revelation‬ ‭9‬:‭11‬ ‭NLT‬‬

“None is so fierce that dare stir him up: Who then is able to stand before me?” ‭‭Job‬ ‭41‬:‭10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“The beast you saw was once alive but isn’t now. And yet he will soon come up out of the bottomless pit and go to eternal destruction….” ‭‭Revelation‬ ‭17‬:‭8‬ ‭NLT‬‬

“We know that we have left death and come over into life; we know it because we love others. Those who do not love are still under the power of death.” ‭‭1 John‬ ‭3‬:‭14‬ ‭GNT‬‬

“For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭6‬:‭23‬ ‭NLT‬‬

“Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin.” ‭‭John‬ ‭8‬:‭34‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“But do you call that a free life? What did you get out of it? Nothing you’re proud of now. Where did it get you? A dead end. But now that you’ve found you don’t have to listen to sin tell you what to do, and have discovered the delight of listening to God telling you, what a surprise! A whole, healed, put-together life right now, with more and more of life on the way! Work hard for sin your whole life and your pension is death. But God’s gift is real life, eternal life, delivered by Jesus, our Master.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭6‬:‭20‬-‭23‬ ‭MSG‬‬

“When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come to pass: “Death has been swallowed up in victory.” “Where, O Death, is your victory? Where, O Death, is your sting?” The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ!” ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭15‬:‭54‬-‭57‬ ‭BSB‬
